Frequently Asked Questions

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Wimbledon?

We love our corner plot in Wimbledon Village, and we just know you will too.

We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in an around our wonderfully welcoming hometown, that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us.

Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Wimbledon Village props the top of your city break hitlist, time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Wimbledon?

There’s so much. We’re just next door to Wimbledon Stables, where you can book horse rides on the Common. We’re 5-minutes down the road from the Tennis, or hop on a bus for two stops, and you’re in Wimbledon High Street. Here you can watch a show at Wimbledon Theatre – but be sure pop into our neighbours Mick and Sarah (Landlord & lady of The Alexandra) for a pre show pint.

And we love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us more when you’re here. We’re a super friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our pub to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am on weekdays, and 8am on weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in, after all).

If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

Our Boutique rooms have space for cots for little ones, fold-out beds for bigger little ones, and some have single or double sofa beds.

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Aptly named, all of our rooms are dog-friendly.

Just add your dog to your booking (up to two pups can stay with you for £20 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

Being so central in the heart of the Village, we don’t have any on-site parking. But, there’s plenty of on-street pay and display parking on neighbouring roads. Those closest to Wimbledon Common have the longest stay periods.

How do I get to you via public transport?

You can journey to us via Wimbledon train station and tube station (District Line). We’re then a 15-minute walk (uphill) from the station or a 5 minute cab ride. You can usually find cabs just outside the station, or simply give the team a call who’ll book a cab to pick you up and get you here lickety-split.

If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
